What the team does
- Pulls the Immigration Rules appendices and GOV.UK guidance directly from GOV.UK.
- Turns the tables into one page per occupation code, with the source and date beside every figure.
- Checks the data against GOV.UK independently before publishing, and again after every GOV.UK update.
- Writes plain-English explanations that only restate what the GOV.UK pages say, each with its sources listed.
- Fixes reported errors and logs corrections on rule changes.
What the team does not do
- Give immigration advice, assess eligibility or review documents.
- Recommend advisers, solicitors or employers.
- Let advertisers influence content.
Editorial standards
Every fact must come from a named GOV.UK or ONS page. Pages show the GOV.UK update date of their sources and the date the site last checked them. Where GOV.UK pages disagree, the Immigration Rules take precedence and the page says so. See the methodology.
